Support Services

Our Support Services are a co-operation of our Housing and Wraparound, Employment and Education, and Spiritual and Religious Care departments. All three work with youth in the community as well as with the youth at the centre. They support youth to help them maintain their housing and employment. Our Spiritual and Religious Care staff also provides crisis intervention with youth in Georgina. As well, our facility hosts other agencies’ drop-in services to help further meet the needs in our community.

Residential Services

Our Residential Services include 16 emergency beds and 10 transitional beds for homeless youth 16-26 years of age. Through teamwork with youth, staff and community partners a holistic approach integrates health, nutrition, literacy and education, parenting education, family support, addictions and mental health service for youth and their families seeking our services. Opportunities occur on a daily basis to learn new life skills as we provide a safe, warm and friendly atmosphere.

Wraparound, Housing and Community Support

Wraparound, housing, and community supports services offer life-skills programs to homeless youth (current and past clients), and those at risk of homelessness. Support is continued past a client’s stay to assist with remaining housed through housing options, transportation assistance, liaising with landlords, visits to foodbank, and advocating for the many issues youth are facing today. If you are in need of help to find a place to live, or to stay housed, you may call our Housing and Community Support Case Manager or Wraparound Case Manager.
