Sutton Youth Services is an emergency shelter for youth and provides transitional housing supports, employment and education programs, housing and community supports and volunteer opportunities.
Our aim is to be a welcoming and safe place for all people who enter, with the emphasis on dignity, respect, recovery, reconciliation, community, belonging, and friendship.
The Salvation Army Sutton Youth Services is committed to strengthening youth and their families by partnering with youth today to create a healthier tomorrow, and fostering safe and healthy communities. Sutton Youth Services is a shelter and drop-in center for youth experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in the northern part of York Region.
The work at Sutton Youth Services is accomplished through unconditional acceptance of each person who comes within its influence, combined with a holistic rehabilitation approach and individualized care. We work diligently to send a strong and clear message to all people who come here including staff, volunteers, funders, or community members, that no one is more or less important than anyone else. We believe that every person has gifts to offer the world.
We Believe in Giving Hope Today.
